SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Hope for the Hungry is a non-profit that was started by Laquisha Jackson just this year.
“We’re here to bring hope. Hope for the Hungry, our mission is to serve with compassion, feed the mind and the body and we also want to impact through education,” Jackson said.
The organization had one of its first events at Doulos Chapel where they served an estimated 100 meals to people living in the tent city.
